Our Commitment to Sustainability 🌿
At Kaltimber, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We believe that high-quality timber doesn’t have to come at the cost of the environment. That’s why we specialize in ethically sourced, reclaimed wood—giving new life to materials from decommissioned structures while reducing deforestation and waste.
Our environmental policy reflects our deep commitment to responsible business practices. From minimizing energy and water consumption to promoting waste reduction and ethical sourcing, we continuously strive to lower our ecological footprint. We work closely with local communities, artisans, and designers to maximize resource efficiency and support a more sustainable future.
In partnership with Friends of the National Parks Foundation (FNPF), we are actively replanting ulin (ironwood) trees, having already contributed to the reforestation of thousands, ensuring this precious species thrives for generations to come.
We hold ourselves accountable by setting clear environmental goals, training our team, and regularly reviewing our practices to ensure continuous improvement. By choosing Kaltimber, you are supporting a company dedicated to preserving natural resources and promoting a circular economy.
